What sets Stool Max apart from other designs is its ability to adapt to various needs and spaces. It is more than just a three-in-one seat; it is an object that becomes an emotional roommate, a friend, and a living companion. MAX's versatility is further enhanced by the development of additional accessories that complement its functionality. It is an embodiment of limitless possibilities.
Produced using the rotational casting process in Germany, Stool Max is crafted with polyethylene in six vibrant colors and polyethylene woodmix in one natural hue. This production method ensures that MAX is not only lightweight at 10kg but also extremely robust, making it suitable for everyday use.
With dimensions of 725mm in height, 675mm in width, and 360mm in depth, Stool Max is designed to harmonize with all styles. Its timeless and simple yet versatile design makes it a perfect addition to any space. Comfort is also a priority, ensuring that users can enjoy their experience with MAX.
The journey of creating Stool Max was not without its challenges. The designer, Mirko Diederichs, faced the task of finding the right material and production process to achieve the desired multifunctionality. Through extensive research and experimentation, the rotational molding process was identified as the ideal method to bring MAX to life. The result is a stool that is lightweight enough to handle easily and yet sturdy enough to withstand the test of time.
Stool Max was born in northern Germany, near Hamburg, where the designer's vision became a reality. Mirko Diederichs' dedication to creating a piece of furniture that breaks free from traditional categorizations has earned him recognition and accolades. Stool Max was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in 2019, a prestigious honor that celebrates well-designed, practical, and innovative creations that meet professional and industrial requirements. It is a testament to the fulfillment and positive feelings that MAX brings, contributing to a better world.
Stool Max is a testament to the power of design to transform everyday objects into extraordinary companions. Its ability to adapt and serve multiple purposes makes it a valuable addition to any space, offering endless possibilities for creativity and functionality.
